Our Mission

All Saints is a place where we meet with God and one another, and where through worship and growing together in faith, we are enabled to communicate our experience of God to our local community through loving action.

The Background

On 28 September 1957, Bishop Montgomery Campbell consecrated All Saints Parish Church, Hanworth. All Saints was one of the first churches to be completed in the capital since the end of World War II. In over 45 years since, the church has brought together many people from this part of Hanworth and beyond, and has provided a lively focus for our community through the regular offering of daily prayer and the liturgy, the pastoral care of the parish which it serves, and the spiritual growth of its worshipping community.

The impending 50th anniversary of the completion of the building will mark yet another milestone in the life of the church in this part of Middlesex.

It is the vision of Jubilee 2007 to use the anniversary as a focus for celebrating our past, taking stock of the present, and for planning our development as a Christian community over the next 50 years: celebrating the past 50 years and looking forward to the next.

Jubilee Art Project

1960               1990

Feltham Community College have agreed to use the Jubilee as a focus for their 6th Form Art Project. It will be based on celebrating 50 years of life in All Saints and the community of Hanworth.

Students are visiting All Saints on Monday 18th September at 2 pm and hope to meet local members of the community and All Saints who can recount their memories of the passed 50 years. These memories will form the basis of the art project, the finished items of which will be displayed around the church during the  Jubilee Year.

As well as interviews, they will also video some of the conversations to help in their project, but also to be on view with the displays.
